Look at Baby Jesus, She's Riding in the Batmobile
This is the latest in a game I like to call, Where's Jesus. We decorated our house for Christmas this weekend. George was extremely interested in the creche that is diplayed on the mantle. I lifted him up to place Mary, Joseph, and the manger above our fireplace. We put baby Jesus away until Christmas morning.
He seemed willing to accept little resin Jesus' in a drawer by the fireplace, but it appears he is actually not pleased with the arrangement. Jesus has had all sorts of adventures these past few days: He's played with trains, he's been fed graham crackers. My favorite little resin Jesus moment occurred Sunday night when George informed us that baby Jesus needed to eat. George hiked up his shirt and pretended to breastfeed the Christ child. Jesus was then swaddled in George's special blanket.
A short time later Jesus went for a spin the in the Batmobile. From the kitchen I heard Oh no Jesus is going to crash...
Brian has asked that we not allow Jesus to leave the house, so this limits our little resin Jesus adventure opportunities. I am, nonetheless, wondering what that little savior will be up to next.
